Hello, and welcome to Episode 13 of The OFCC Podcast, a production of the Oklahoma Film Critics Circle. this episode, we dive into the origins of a possessed doll, the return of an indie favorite filmmaker from retirement, as well as a few hot takes of some films still out in theaters. 

First up, Host Charles Elmore is joined by James Cooper and Craig Sanger to discuss the new thriller Annabelle: Creation, The next installment in the horror franchise spawned by the surprise horror hit The Conjuring.

Then, the much lauded return of filmmaker Steven Soderbergh, his new film Logan Lucky and his new distribution model.

Finally, still out in theaters, We’ve got an endearing oddball comedy, A directorial debut by an oscar nominated writer, and a screwball, vulgar actioneer starring Ryan reynolds and Samuel L Jackson
